Ministerial Community
Ministry can be lonely, even without the qualifier of "progressive". A benefit of doing camp together for so many years was the opportunity for our ministers to also be together and form connections.
But at Youth Camp, we're working. There's not always time to sit down and have that coffee with a friend, and it definitely isn't restful! So we decided it's time to carve out some time specifically for PYC ministers. There are two kinds of events.

Retreats
Ministers deserve rest! Sometimes, that feels impossible. Our ministerial retreats will be lightly programmed and prioritize rest in whatever form the minister wants to find it.
Time for napping, reading, walking, and talking is ample! Ministers can expect to find rest in a beautiful location surrounded in nature.
Continuing Education
Along with rest, ministers also need formal opportunities to broaden their horizons! Based on interest, we will have online or in-person continuing education in a variety of subjects like child-safety, public theology, youth ministry, and psychology/sociology.
Ministers should come ready to learn and engage!
